Promises of God — Covenant of Abraham
Inspired by Genesis 13:14–15
“Lift up your eyes, and look from the place where you are… for all the land which you see, to you I will give it, and to your offspring forever.”
Covenant of Abraham captures the moment Abraham stands looking out across the vast land God promised to him and his descendants.
Abraham stands beneath a sky filled with countless stars, reflecting God's promise that his descendants would be as numerous as the stars in the heavens. The vast landscape before him represents the land God promised to give him and his offspring.
The stars speak of a promise far greater than what Abraham could see in that moment—a people, a future, and a covenant that would continue through generations.
This painting is a reminder that God's promises do not depend on what we can see. What God speaks, He is faithful to fulfill.
God made a covenant with Abraham. He gave him the land and promised a people. And God always keeps His promises.
