Promises of God — Promise of the Shekhinah

Inspired by Isaiah 43:1–2

“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned.” — Isaiah 43:2

Promise of the Shekhinah is a reminder of God's promise that His presence will be with us through every season of life. Shekhinah means the dwelling and abiding presence of God.

The painting shows a man standing before a storm, facing the uncertainty and challenges ahead. Yet he does not stand alone. Beside him is the Lion of Judah, representing God's powerful and faithful presence—watching over him, going before him, and shielding him as he walks forward.

The Lion does not remove the storm. Instead, He remains with the man through it. He goes ahead to make a way where there seems to be no way.

This painting invites us to remember that we may face deep waters and raging storms, but we never face them alone. The God who leads us is also the God who stays with us.

His presence goes before us. His presence surrounds us. And through every storm, He is with us.
