Promises of God — Holy Spirit
Inspired by Acts 2:16–18
“I will pour out My Spirit on all people…” — Acts 2:17
Holy Spirit is a reminder of God's promise that we are never alone. He gives us a Helper who teaches, guides, comforts, and leads us as we walk with Him.
The Hebrew name Ruach HaKodesh (רוּחַ הַקֹּדֶשׁ) means “the Holy Spirit” or “the Holy Breath/Spirit,” reflecting God's life-giving presence dwelling within His people.
The painting shows a woman on her knees in prayer, surrendering herself to God. Above her, a flame represents the Holy Spirit, echoing the flames of Pentecost when the Spirit was poured out upon the disciples. His presence brings wisdom when we are uncertain, strength when we are weak, and guidance when we do not know which way to go.
This painting invites us to remember that we do not walk through life alone or in our own strength. When we call upon Him, His Spirit fills us, teaches us, guides us, and draws us closer to God.
He is our Helper. He is our Guide. And His Spirit gives us life.
