Promises of God — New Creation
Inspired by 2 Corinthians 5:17–18
“Therefore, if anyone is in Messiah, he is a new creation; the old has passed away; behold, the new has come.”
New Creation captures the transformation of baptism when we leave the old life behind and step into new life in Yeshua.
The man rising from the waters represents the old being surrendered—sin, shame, fear, brokenness, and everything that once defined him. The darkness behind him speaks of what has been left behind, while the radiant light shining upon him represents God's presence, grace, truth, and new life.
He is not simply escaping his past; he is stepping into a new identity, reconciled to God and made new in Yeshua.
The old has passed away. The new has come.
This painting is a reminder that God has made a way for us to have new life in Him.
