Promises of God — Return and Ascent
Inspired by Jeremiah 32:38–41
“They shall be My people, and I will be their God… I will bring them back to this place and cause them to dwell safely.”
Return and Ascent is a reminder of God's faithfulness to His promises and His covenant with His people.
The woman carrying the Jewish girl represents the nations coming alongside to help God's people return to the land He promised to Abraham and his descendants. Her strength carries a picture of support, while the girl represents a people being brought home.
In the background, Jerusalem stands as a symbol of the promised land, with the Star of David flowing in the wind—a reminder of God's enduring covenant and His faithfulness through generations.
This painting speaks of a God who does not forget His promises. What He spoke to Abraham generations ago still points to His faithfulness today.
God is a promise-keeping God. He is faithful to His covenant. What He has promised, He will fulfill.
